(World’s 1st male supermodel)
I Say ….
You just have to look at him. He´s fabulous. He’s got a fabulous body, face, and attitude. Marcus Schenkenberg (born 4 August 1968)is the world’s first male supermodel, actor, singer, writer and TV personality born in Stockholm, Sweden but of Dutch descent. Modeled for Gianni Versace, Donna Karan, Ungaro and Calvin Klein. His first magazine cover was in 1991 for Harpers Bazaar. He has appeared in hundreds of haute-couture shows and in magazines ranging from Vogue Italia to Elle.
He is the highest paid per-year male supermodel in the world, and also known for his muscular, well-proportioned body, and especially for his “washboard” abdominal muscles. Schenkenberg speaks Swedish (his native language), German, Italian and English. In 1987, Marcus traveled America with a friend. Two years later, while rollerblading on California’s Venice Beach, he was discovered by a photographer. Schenkenberg (who had been earning money as a dogwalker and a nanny for two young children) agreed to have his picture taken and within months he was en route to the runways of Paris. His career really took off when Bruce Weber shot him showering naked for a Calvin Klein jeans ad.
